Mid-Michigan Teen Challenge Information

Mid-Michigan Teen Challenge is a 14 month residential, Christ-centered ministry that has a BIBLE INSTITUTE setting. We provide a structured environment for the students to work through their problems. We have a men's center and a women's center that helps students from the ages of 18 and up. WE ARE NOT JUST A PROGRAM . . . BUT A WAY OF LIFE!!

  • There is hope for the alcoholic or drug abuser.
  • The root problem of addiction is man's separation from GOD, not the drugs.
  • The only cure is a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, The Son of God.
  • Christ within a person changes their desires.
Teen Challenge has been in Mid-Michigan since 1971. The ministry is made possible by people who care about others. We are supported financially by individuals, churches, and business organizations. Mid-Michigan Teen Challenge is under the direct supervision of a board of directors, who are local businessmen and pastors. Students come from all over the United States to Michigan Teen Challenge.

In (1976) Health, Education and Welfare Department study indicates there is an authenticated hope for the drug addict.

Dr. Catherine Hess MPA, states that treatment in a detoxification facility results in a 1 -% cure rate and the therapeutic communities cure rate is at about 10%, Dr. Hess found the PA Teen Challenge to have a phenomenal 86% cure rate.
