Many Teen Challenge outreach and evangelism activities are scheduled throughout the year. Much of this outreach is in gang devastated and drug infested communities - places where the Gospel of God’s love and power is needed now more than ever. Teen Challenge also assists local churches in reaching their neighborhoods and surrounding communities with Christ’s messages of healing and reconciliation.

Christian education, pastoral counseling, prayer, lifestyle, and devotions are key areas in which the student is provided help in building the most conducive environment for the Holy Spirit’s work. Teen Challenge is a discipleship training environment. Teen Challenge is very grateful for all the opportunities it has to share a message of hope and help with so many people.

Teen Challenge is also grateful for the friends who know of this work and who support all these efforts. Together, you and Teen Challenge can make a real difference in the lives of a significant number of people who desperately need this ministry. Teen Challenge is not a rehabilitation program.

Four Principles

The program is based on four basic principles:

1. There is hope for a person with life-controlling problems.
2. Sin is the root problem, not drugs, alcohol, etc.,
3. The only cure for sin and its symptoms (drugs, alcohol, etc.) is Jesus Christ.
4. Through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, one is able to overcome the temptation of sin.
